The Applied Research Collaborative is a partnership between three of the region’s leading research institutions – RegionWise (SLU), the Public Policy Research Center (UMSL), and the Institute for Urban Research (SIUE)
The Institute for Urban Research at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville:
The IUR provides assistance in areas of strategic planning, survey development, and data collection. Its mission is to advance the scholarship and understanding of urban governance issues through the facilitation of teaching, research, and service on urban issue by SIUE faculty, professional staff, and students.
The Public Policy Research Center at the University of Missouri-St. Louis:
The Public Policy Research Center produces and disseminates methodologically rigorous and unbiased applied analysis and evaluation of public policies and programs and theoretical research on public policy issues. PPRC conducts applied research for the civic, nonprofit, and public sectors of the St. Louis area and the State of Missouri.
Regionwise at Saint Louis University:
Regionwise is a team of research professionals, allied with the Department of Public Policy Studies in the College of Education and Public Service at Saint Louis University, and dedicated to bringing database resources and analysis skills to bear on key regional issues. Regionwise engages in projects that support quality of life enhancement in the St. Louis Region and beyond.
